Last updated June 26, 2026 · Marlo Technologies LLC

This Privacy Policy explains what Marlo Technologies LLC (“Marlo,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use our app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Marlo, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us and a small amount generated as you use Marlo:

  • Account information — your name and email address when you sign up.
  • Booking & payment information — appointments, services, and prices. Payments and deposits are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Phone numbers — yours and, where you add them, your clients’, used to send appointment texts. SMS is sent only with consent, and we never share mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties for their marketing.
  • Usage & device data — basic, non-identifying information about how the app is used, to keep it running and improve it.
  • Cookies — small files that keep you signed in and help us understand site traffic.

How we use it

We use your information to provide and operate Marlo, process bookings and payments, send transactional and opted-in messages, provide support, improve the product, and keep the service secure and compliant with the law.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We never share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers needed to run Marlo: Stripe (payment processing), our hosting provider (running the service), and our SMS provider (delivering texts). We may also disclose information if required by law or as part of a business transfer. Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the site and limited analytics cookies to understand traffic. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies from the banner, or manage them in your browser settings.

Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.

Your choices

You can access, update, or delete your information by emailing us. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message.

Children

Marlo is built for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
